Guests Emeritus
Two of our former Guests of Honour, Ken MacLeod and Charles Stross, are planning to join us at Satellite 9 (professional commitments permitting). Ken and Charlie have been stalwart supporters of Satellite since the beginning, and both are lifetime Guests Emeritus (along with Satellite 3’s Apocrypha of Honour, Fluff the Plush Cthulhu).
Ken MacLeod
Ken was GoH of Satellite 1 in 2007. He is a prolific writer whose novels have been nominated for Locus, Hugo, Nebula and Arthur C Clarke Awards. Amongst his most popular works are the Fall Revolution series and the Engines of Light trilogy. Ken was GoH of the 82nd World Science Fiction Convention, Glasgow 2024.

Fluff the Plush Cthulhu
Everyone’s favourite plush Elder God, His Malevolence Fluff is usually to be found in the company of his Chief Minion, Feorag. His hobbies include eating brains… eating brains… and, well, eating brains.
