The Hotel

The Convention is being held at the Clayton Hotel Glasgow, 298 Clyde Street, Glasgow G1 4NP. Opened in late 2022, the hotel is located on the north bank of the River Clyde in the heart of the City Centre. It is less than 5 minutes’ walk from Glasgow Central Station and close to the bus link to Glasgow Airport.

The front of the hotel is the former Custom House, a Grade-A listed neo-classical blonde sandstone building. This is connected to a purpose-built extension with 330 modern bedrooms. Fully accessible bedrooms are available.

Hotel bookings are now open. There is a discounted rate of £184/£196 per night for single/double occupancy, including full breakfast. This special rate is available to all members for the Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday of the convention weekend. To access this discount, you will need a promotional code. This will be emailed to members directly.

Some further information you may find useful:

• Accessible rooms are available at the hotel. To book an Accessible room, select the 'Accessible Room' option on the 'Personalise Your Stay' page (immediately after you make your initial room selection).
• You will be asked for a credit card number on booking. This is just a Security Deposit, no payment will be taken at this time. Rooms can be cancelled without penalty up to seven days before the convention.
• If you want to prolong your visit outside the convention weekend, please book your convention rooms with the promotional code, then contact the hotel directly on (0)141 340 9620 or Reservations.glasgowcity@claytonhotels.com to extend your booking. This will ensure you get the discounted rate for Satellite 9 members for the nights of the convention.

The hotel offers 40% discounted overnight parking at the nearby Q-Park St Enoch and Q-Park Jamaica Street car parks. Parking must be booked in advance on the Q-park website. Details of how to obtain the discount will be provided shortly.
