Disease Mitigation

Satellite Conventions expects everyone to do their part in keeping safe from infectious diseases.

Subject to any further regulatory changes or guidance from Scottish Government, we recommend that all members:

• Carry out a Covid-19 lateral flow test (LFT) before travelling to the convention.
• Refrain from attending if they have, or develop, symptoms of any respiratory tract infection (coughing, sneezing, fever, or runny nose) or digestive issues, even if they have tested negative for Covid.
• Where possible, space themselves out in programme areas (allowing that some members may need to occupy particular areas for access reasons.
• Maintain good personal hygiene (hand washing, use sanitiser gels etc.).
• Respect the requests of other members if they ask for extra personal distance.
